Kathryn Bellacosa RYT 200, has been a yoga practitioner for six years and initially became interested in yoga to enhance her fitness goals – to improve flexibility and strength – adding a lower impact exercise to balance her more vigorous forms of fitness. What she found was not only a low impact path but a greater connection to her breath, breath control in exercise, and relief from stress and anxiety. She says “What makes yoga different from traditional exercise is that it has the unique capacity to bring our attention to the mind, body, and breath; simultaneously bringing allaspects of oneself into one line of focus. I would love to share this beautifully transformative practice with you, it is my hope to make yoga accessible to anyone willing to give it a try.”
